Hello everyone, this is my second post and I will share you what I have
uploaded.
Now, let me introduce you all to my creation of materials. For my
creation of materials, I have used PowerPoint as teaching and learning tools
because it provides dynamic teaching styles which can employ all different
types of learner. I have created PowerPoint in such a way that it can uphold
the attention of students in a glimpse. Since my topic is an addition I took an
advantage of tools which were provided by PowerPoint tools, in conjunction with
that to make them more attractive and to help them understand in a realistic
way I have downloaded some images from Google, Facebook, and other sources.
Images were used in each slide to make meaning from it which will help (visual
learner). I have also downloaded one video rhyme on addition which will help
(visual and auditory learner) and the video will be shown after my explanation
on some characteristics of addition. In order to wipe out the monotonous
feelings of audiences while going through my presentation, I have used various
ingredients of animation which includes entrance, emphasis, and exit in my
PowerPoint presentation. Moreover, I have used hyperlinks in part of quiz
slides that will be presenting during activities whereby I installed the applause
audio if students get the correct answer.
In
specific the instructions for creating content based materials are as follows:
Ø Firstly
with proper planning and looking for an advantage I have chosen PowerPoint as
my ICT tools for designing my materials as I stated earlier it provides
teaching styles.
Ø Depending
upon my topic addition, I have downloaded some images and one video which are
kind of familiar through which I can use it while formulating my slides in
attractive.
Ø Secondly
before entering the zone of designing a presentation I make some notes to keep
myself in a track which will help me to do a presentation in a systematic way
because systematic is one of the techniques to make presentations better.
Ø In
the first slide, to make some glimpse of what will be learning in session, I
kept some images of the addition sign.
Ø In
second and third slides, I have shown the meaning of addition plus some
characteristics of addition by inserting some images which students will learn
in concert as well as abstract manner.
Ø From
the fourth slide to seven slides I inserted some of the images to help
representation of additional examples. In the example, I have included some of
the additional examples which will help the student to enhance in a realistic
(money addition which will learn in real form) manner.
Ø In
seven slides I inserted one video on addition by which it gives the overview of
the topic in which it indirectly helps (auditory and visual) learners.
Ø From
slide eight to thirteen I have kept it as activity part which includes problem
solving( helps kinesthetic), quiz in which I have included the hyperlink in
quiz part. I have inserted some image inactivity part in order to help those
learn through visual.
Ø For
the correct answer I inserted applause sound with thumps up emoji and on the
other hands for an incorrect answer, I wrote sorry plus inserted no emoji.
Ø My
activities are made in order to make the student think and the activities were
designed to work them collaborative within the group which is modern pedagogy
which also, sustain student learning.
So

recommend you to use or integrate ICT (PowerPoint presentation) in classroom
teaching as it acts as an umbrella for the various students learning.
